Almaden Country School is an independent, coeducational, nonsectarian South San Jose school that offers programs for students from 4 years of age through 8th grade.
Now in our 31st year of discovering the gifts in every child, we are proud that for the last four years (2009 through 2012), our preschool, elementary, and middle school were voted “Best of Best” by Bay Area Parent magazine. Enrolling more than 420 students, it is Almaden Country School’s philosophy that each child has unique capabilities and talents.
Your child will have:
- Passionate, talented teachers who are devoted to the children they serve;
- A broad and challenging curriculum including a full enrichment
program of art, music, drama, hands-on science, foreign language, and
P.E.;
- Small class sizes;
- A Personal Learning Plan; and
- A Character and Competence program that helps develop strong, ethical leaders.
Almaden Country School admits students of
any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights,
privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made
available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the
basis of race, color, sexual orientation, national and ethnic origin in
administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, and
athletic and other school-administered programs.
