Are ACS students prepared for high school and beyond? Absolutely!
On average, 9 in 10 ACS graduates are admitted to selective private high schools of their choice. Once in high school, ACS students become involved in all areas of high school life. They distinguish themselves academically and otherwise, taking Honors and Advanced Placement classes, achieving high marks at their schools, participating in clubs and on teams, receiving service awards and earning scholarships to their colleges of choice.
While ACS is a small school, we're proud to claim numerous valedictorians at the selective high schools our graduates attend.
Ultimately, the ACS result that's most significant has to do with the character of the young people blossoming in our classrooms, onstage and on the playing fields. School administrators at the high schools ACS alumni attend consistently describe our students as:
- "Well-prepared"
- "Poised"
- "Confident"
- "Strong public speakers"
- "Adaptable"
- "Intellectually curious"
- "Positive"
- "Well-rounded"
- "Involved in all aspects of school life"
These testimonials speak to qualities in ACS students that we value most, evidence that the ACS experience definitely leads to "results."
The recent classes have extended the ACS tradition of excellence with their high school placement results. A combined 95% of our eighth graders applying to private high schools were admitted, some to multiple schools.
The successes of our alumni continue as they graduate from high school and are admitted to college.
