Extended Care for Early Childhood

Apple Tree

Our Early Childhood Education extended care program, Apple Tree, provides opportunities for children to freely explore ideas and engage in unstructured play in a safe, supervised environment.

Dedicated teachers prepare a variety of non-academic activities, including indoor and outdoor play, arts and crafts, stories, walking trips to the park, cooking projects and quiet time for our younger set. Developing and reinforcing community, cooperation and choice are key elements of our program, so when visiting the Apple Tree, you’ll typically find children happily buzzing about the room and pursuing their interests individually or with partners, like building a pirate ship and sailing the open sea.

Preschool, Junior Kindergarten, and Kindergarten students can join Apple Tree extended care from 3pm - 6pm.
